NOTE: Being able to sign documents with E-Signature is dependent on your companies agreement with SameSystem. If you are unsure, please reach out to your administrator.
Note that the document in question needs to be created and sent via SameSystems E-Signature portal first. Check out this article if you want to learn how to add signers and send a document to e-signature.
How to sign a document using E-Signature
1. All signers will receive the document in their own email inbox. When you click on the link in the email, you'll be directed into the E-Signature portal, where you can select the suitable authentication method, and proceed to log in.
NOTE: Some companies have set up a specific order for who should receive the document first. That means in some cases, one signer has to complete the signing process, before the next signer receives their copy and can continue to sign as well. Reach out to SameSystem Support or your administrator if you are unsure about this.
2. You now have to read the document thoroughly before you can continue to sign it.
3. After you've read it, press Sign. You will now proceed to sign the document with the authentication method chosen at the beginning of the process. Once signed, you will get to the signature overview, where you can see the status of the other signers, as well as your own.
When all parties have signed, a confirmation email will be sent to everyone stating that the contract has been signed successfully. ๐
