How does availability work? 📆

The availability feature allows you to mark specific days in the schedule where you either can or cannot work. You have the option to mark full days, or split it up by selecting the exact hours you can/can't work, e.g. from 12.00 to 15.00.

After you have marked your availability, your manager will be able to easily see these days in the schedule, clearly marked with either available or unavailable.

How to set your availability

1. Launch the app, and head into the menu option called Calendar. Tap the blue circle with a plus-icon inside:

2. Tap Set availability.

3. Start by specifying your Settings:

  • Tap the button Available or Unavailable, to specify what type of availability you are setting up.

  • If you want to mark partial availability, use the toggle to specify the exact hours you are un/available.

  • When you're happy with your settings, simply tap the days in your calendar where you want to apply your availability settings. Check out our examples below:

Here, we have marked the 5th, 6th, and 7th as available (the grey color indicate today's date):

Here, we have marked the 19th, 20th, and 21st with partial unavailability from 09.00-16.00 (the blue dots indicate already assigned shifts):

Can I make different availability settings at the same time?

Yes, you can! Simply adjust your settings first, and then mark any days that should have these settings. Then, readjust the settings, and mark any days that should have the new settings applied. You do not have to save between each different setting, simply wait till you're all done. 👌

Here, we have applied partial availability on the 7th, 12th, and 13th, followed by partial unavailability on the 19th, 20th, 21st, and lastly, we have marked the 27th with full-day unavailability.

4. When you've completed marking your availability, finish the process by tapping the Save button! 🎉

After saving, you can tap into your Calendar again to see your availability. Here, we have 3 full unavailable days:
