Easily Set Up Recurring Shifts with Base Plan Mode

Tired of creating the same schedules over and over? With Base Plan Mode, you can automate recurring shift patterns for your team—no more manual scheduling or juggling templates! 🙌

What Is Base Plan Mode?

Base Plan Mode is a new, easy-to-use tool that helps you quickly build and manage schedules for staff who work consistent hours. It's perfect for teams with regular weekly or monthly shifts. Instead of creating templates or copying schedules, you set it up once and let it run.

How to create a Base Plan

Go to

➡️ Schedule

➡️ Navigate to the week you want to start your base plan.

➡️ Hover over an employee’s profile image and click the calendar icon 📆 - Edit base plan

Select the number of weeks your base plan should cover. This will determine the repeating pattern.

  1. Start Date: Set automatically to the first week you see in the schedule.

  2. End Date: Set to "Ongoing" by default. This means the pattern will continue automatically, and new schedule periods will be created and filled with your base plan shifts—no extra steps needed.

  3. Want to start on a different date? Exit Base Plan Mode, go to your preferred week, and enable Base Plan Mode again.

Add the shifts to the base plan.

Click on the day and start adding the shifts

Roll Out

Once everything is set up, click Roll Out Base Plan to apply it.

Create a Base plan for the other employees

Once you've set up a base plan for one team member, you can easily do the same for the rest of your team.

When adding shifts for another employee, you’ll see any existing base plans already set up—so you can easily coordinate across the team.

🎉 You're all set!
You're now ready to create your first base plan and make scheduling a whole lot easier. No more copy-pasting or starting from scratch every week. 💪🙂

If you ever need to make changes, you can update or roll out a new base plan anytime.

Happy scheduling! 🗓️✨
