Schedule v2 - Introduction

Performance has been one of our biggest priorities. Schedule v2 is substantially faster – especially with larger schedules – so managers spend less time waiting and more time planning.

Schedule v2 gives managers more ways to work depending on the task at hand. The biggest addition is the new Zone View, which lets you manage the Schedule from a zone or task perspective rather than always organising around individual employees – making it far easier to see how specific areas, functions or responsibilities are staffed throughout the day.

Template Mode has been redesigned to make recurring schedules easier to create, understand and maintain. Templates are now more flexible and better integrated into everyday scheduling, so you can easily reuse the structures that already work well across your organisation.

The completely new Baseplan lets you create smarter recurring templates for individual employees – ideal when predictable working patterns should form the foundation of future schedules.

The new Schedule Change Log gives managers a clear overview of what was changed, when it was changed and how the Schedule has developed over time.

Schedule v2 is more than an improvement to the Schedule you use today – it is the foundation for the future of automatic planning in SameSystem. We are working on entirely new ways of helping managers build and optimise schedules automatically, and we will have much more to share in the near future.
