How to Send an SMS or Email to Your Employees

In this article, you can learn how to send an SMS or email to your employees directly from SameSystem.

Please note: Sending SMS messages has a cost and must be set up separately.
If you do not have the option to select SMS, the setup has not been activated yet. This setup can only be enabled after agreement with an administrator.


How to send a message to employees

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Schedule

  2. Click Schedule

  3. Click the paper airplane icon in the top right corner.


Choose how to send your message

Under “Send as”, you can choose between:

  • SMS

  • Email


Choose recipients

You can choose between two types of recipients:

  • Individual recipients
    Use this option if you want to send a message to one or several employees.

  • Broad audience
    Use this option if you want to send a message to entire departments or specific titles/roles.

If you select Broad audience, you must also choose the department or titles you want to send the message to.


SMS sender

When sending an SMS, you can choose the sender:

  • SameSystem

  • Your own mobile number

The mobile number shown will be the number registered on your user profile in SameSystem.


Send your message

To send your message:

  1. Enter a subject

  2. Write your message

  3. Send the message

⚠ Please note that you will only be able to see employees and departments that you have permission to access.
