View SameSystem Log (History) in the Schedule

In this article, you can learn how to view the history of an employee's shift in the schedule.

The history function shows all changes made to a shift, allowing you to easily see what was changed, when the change was made, and who made it.


What can you see in the history?

In the history, you can see:

  • When a shift was planned

  • When a shift was released

  • Changes made to the shift

  • Allowances

  • Registered absence

  • Who made the change

  • Date and time of the change

This provides a full overview of what has happened to the shift on that specific day.


How to view the history of a shift

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Schedule in the menu

  2. Click Schedule

  3. Click the shift in the schedule for which you want to see the history.

  4. When the shift window opens, you will find History in the bottom left corner.

  1. Click History to see all recorded changes for the employee on that day.

If there are many changes, you can click See more at the bottom of the history list.


Permissions

To view the history, you must have the “SameSystem log” permission.

This permission is typically assigned to managers, for example:

  • Administrator

  • Regional Manager

  • Store Manager

📌 If you do not have the permission and are not an administrator, please contact your head office.

📌 If you are an administrator and still do not have the permission, please contact SameSystem Support.
