How does availability work? 📆

When shop managers are planning their next planning period, they will have the option to see employee's availability data in both the unreleased and released schedule - both for shifts, open shifts and absence fragments.
In order to have availability data available, shop managers will have to inform/request the employees to put in their availability data through the mobile app (iOS & Android).

Also, employees can type in a comment when setting their availability, which the manager will be able to see in both the schedule tooltip (hold on shift) and in the timeline in the action board.


When hovering over the day-cell and holding shift down at the same time:

With the option for employees to type in a comment, we allow them to give a reason for their availability, while enabling managers to make smarter decisions based on the users need when planning.
